It’s probably no surprise that I have a fond appreciation for Chamblee.
First, it is just a great place to live. And the past few years have seen so many things change in the city that make it even more desirable. New townhomes, new single family homes, new apartments. Old shopping centers that have had a complete rebirth! And plans are moving forward on their Downtown redevelopment.
Chamblee is a great location….you have a MARTA station to get you to Buckhead, Midtown, Downtown or the airport. You have easy access to I-285 and 85 for commuting to other parts of Atlanta.
The City has a great Public Relations Department headed by Tisa Moore. And one of the great things that comes out of her department is the E-Signal Official Newsletter. The July/August issue in out now! And has some great articles:

Chamblee has their own version of the Atlanta Beltline, with the Rail Trail and Keswick Nature Trail. (Eventually, the Rail Trail will connect to the Peachtree Creek Greenway which will connect to the Beltline….I’m not expecting to be around to witness this one….)
Chamblee Spirit. In these challenging times it is always great to hear “feel-good” stories about people helping people. Chamblee is no exception.
